Classic Lasagna


Ingredients:



Bechamel sauce:
  • Butter-5 tablespoons
  • Flour(all-purpose)-1/2 cup
  • Milk-4 cups
  • Tomato sauce-1 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • White pepper
  • Olive Oil-1/4 cup
  • Ground Beef-1 pound
  • salt and pepper
  • Ricotta Cheese-1 1/2 pound
  • Eggs-3
  • Lagnia strips-1 pound
  • Mozzarella cheese-3 cups,shredded
  • Parmesan cheese-1/4 cup
Method:
  1. Preheat the oven at 375'F.
  2. In a saucepan,melt 5 tablespoons of butter on medium heat.
  3. Add flour and whisk until smooth,for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the milk,whisking continuously.
  5. Let the sauce simmer until it is thickened.
  6. Remove from heat after 10 minutes and mix in the tomato sauce.
  7. Separately,in a pan,heat olive oil and cook the meat.
  8. Add the seasoning and cook on medium heat until meat is tender.
  9. In a bowl,mix the ricotta and the eggs.
  10. In a baking dish,spread the bechamel sauce.
  11. Layer the strips and spread the meat on top.
  12. Add a layer of the ricotta mixture then another layer of strips.
  13. Add another layer of beef,ricotta,sauce then mazerella cheese.
  14. Add a little butter ontop and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.
