Turtle Brownies


Ingredients:


  • Chocolate-3 ounces"(unsweetened)

  • Butter(unsalted)-12 tablespoons

  • Eggs-3

  • Light Brown Sugar-1/2 cup

  • Sugar-1 cup

  • Vanilla extract-1 teaspoon

  • Flour(all-purpose)-1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons

  • Salt-1/4 salt

Caramel Topping:

  • Caramels-40

  • Heavy Whip cream-1/2 cup

  • Pecans-1/2 cup

Ganache Topping:


  • Semisweet Chocolate-2 ounces

  • Heavy Whip Cream-1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven at 350'F.

  2. Butter an oven dish and set aside.

Brownie:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl,over a pot of boiling water.

  2. Beat the eggs and sugar until mixture becomes smooth.

  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and add the melted chocolate,mix well.

  4. Then add in the flour and salt.

  5. Bake the brownie mixture until well cooked.Approximate:20 minutes.

Caramel:

  1. In a saucepan,melt the caramels on low heat.

  2. Set aside from heat and add he pecans and make sure they are fully coated with the caramel.

Top the brownies with the caramel topping and refrigerate until brownies are firm.


Ganache Topping:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of boiling water.

  2. Heat the cream in saucepan or microwave and bring it just to a boil.

  3. Add it to the melted chocolate and mix until mixture is set.

  4. Let it set for 5 minutes,then stir until it becomes smooth.

Top the brownies with the ganache topping and cut it into squares or rectangles.Refrigerate them for a while and Turtle Brownies are prepared.
