Spaghetti alla Checca



Ingredients:
  • Tomatoes-8
  • Garlic cloves-4
  • Basil leaves-7
  • Olive Oil-2/3 cup
  • Spaghetti-1 pound
  • Parmesan Cheese-optional
Method:
  1. A few hours before lunch,peel and chop the tomatoes and put it in a bowl.
  2. Add garlic cloves,smashed with a knife.
  3. Add olive oil and basil and mix.
  4. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and leave it for a few hours.
  5. In a bowl,add the boiled spaghetti and top it with a spoonful of the tomatoes and sprinkle cheese on top.
