Ingredients:
- Red lentis (daal) Soaked for one hour
- 1 Oz- Masoor daal
- 1.5 pints Chicken Stock
- 1 Onion
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Celery
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 tbsp Pepper
- 1 tpsn Corn Flour
- 4 Oz -Milk
- 4 Oz- Butter
- Soak lentils for 1-2 hours befor cooking
- Chop Onions, carrots, and melt the butter in a large saucepan
- Fry Onions
- Add stock, lentils, carrot, celery, garlic and seasoning
- Bring it to a boil and lower the heat
- Let it simmer for half hour
- Blend the mixture in a blender and return it into a saucepan
- Mix corn flour with milk and stir it into the soup
- Cook until thick
